A little more about All Grown Up from our website….
If you’re a grown-up who’s always wanted to learn an instrument and be in a band, this is the weekend for you. Girls Rock Camp: All Grown Up is a fundraiser in support of our youth camps.

Who: any woman, trans, two-spirit, or gender-non-conforming adult aged 19 and up who wants to learn an instrument and collaborate with a band.

What: a weekend-long mini-camp where participants will receive lessons in drums, guitar, bass, or keys, form a band, write a song, and perform for their fans! We strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for campers to be able to try something new. Past campers have said that camp was a non-judgemental environment that made them feel confident, empowered, supported and inspired.

No previous musical experience is required to participate. In fact, this camp is for beginners – all campers will be a beginner on the instrument they learn to play that weekend. One goal of camp is to give access to learning an instrument and forming a band to those who haven’t had that chance before.
