Lévi Soulodre (The Pxrtals- pronounced “Portals”) has been drawing, playing music, and imagining ever since he could remember. Beginning with violin at age three, Lévi’s musical journey has taken him across Canada, to the famed stage of LA’s Whisky A-Go-Go, and to the heart of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival- performing in the same neighbourhood where a youthful Beatles honed their skills.

The Liquor Shakes were born in the dark depths of a basement jam space in a college party house. The three-piece was always drawn to a room full of instruments & beer. Five years and a few hangovers later, The Liquor Shakes were formed.

Inspired by the likes of the Black Keys, Kaleo & Jack White, The Liquor Shakes blues rock sound is raw and un-refined. Follow The Liquor Shakes for garage rock at it’s most sub-par!
