Hi everyone, unfortunately the show scheduled for Saturday night has been postponed. We will announce a new date once the band is able to make it back up to Saskatoon!
Regina’s pioneer pop-punk band formed in 1979, playing catchy, danceable originals and fun covers for three solid years before parting ways in 1982. With the exception of a reunion show in 1984, the Extroverts remained dormant until an unlikely reemergence in 2009.
Old songs like “Tactical Squad” and “Living in Poverty” were dusted off, and the songwriting partnership between singer/lyricist Brent Caron and guitarist/songwriter Eddie Lester resumed, in a most unconventional way.
Several of Brent’s unused lyrics from the 1979-1982 stint were found in the Extroverts’ archives, and Lester added new music to create a batch of “new/old” songs, including Government Girls and Hysteria Night, currently available as 7″ single.
The Lunatic Touch is a Rock & Roll band from Saskatoon, formed August 2017. Ex-members of Sleaze Patrol, The Split Lips, and Shockflesh. Influences include The Gun Club, X, The Cramps, The Damned, The Saints, The Adverts, LOTNC, The Birthday Party……..
