with special guests vbnd.SoulmateCollective and CD-ROM.COM (S’moore live electronic set)

The Pistolwhips return for a Very Prairie Music Showcase, debuting songs from their recently recorded upcoming album in their last hometown show of the year. Catch these tunes live before they are released in 2020!

Joining them are vbnd. and The Soulmate Collective with some killer r&b vibes and CD-ROM.COM, the live electronic incarnation of dark house wonder S’MOORE.

“The Soulmate Collective is a neosoul/jazz group comprised of some of the best talent from Saskatoon. Led by vbnd, the band has been heard millions of times through streaming platforms across the world. They bring the sounds of neosoul, jazz, hip hop, and funk with them whenever they hit the stage and they are sure to leave an impression.”

“Canadian artist (aka Ethan S’MOORE) has gathered some serious momentum over the past year as one of Central Canada’s most auditory, and visually captivating live house and techno performers. After debuting this new live project in early March 2019, and performing a handful of DJ sets of original tracks under the same moniker, has begun to carve his own unique position in the North American music scene.
Using a combination of Ableton and other programs, alongside a repertoire of drum machines, synthesizers, and other performance tools, delivers a unique blend of house and techno, that is contemporary, yet nostalgic of its Detroit and Chicago roots.”

“Very Prairie is an intensive multi-day Music Summit focused on career growth, business development and best practices. What does that mean? It means that Saskatoon will play host to national and international representatives from labels, festivals, agencies and funders, alongside artists, media and industry builders. Over the course of the summit we will dissect a wide array of topics.”
